Whats new at PJ......

As usual we are getting lots of new and interesting things arriving on site and have had a re-shuffle to make space for them.

We currently have lots of washable nappies of different brands and sizes and all the bits to go with them......an absolute bargain!

Pj-001

We have also had a change around in the Arthur's & Martha's Menswear cabin, creating more space for display the huge array of mens suits, dinner jackets and formal wear that we have available.

AND a funky new display space for some of the vintage items of furniture and curiosities.... so if you havent been down in a while, expect to see some changes

0025/12 Proper Job

To whom it may concern,

I am writing to support Proper Job’s planning application
and do not think DNPA should restrict reuse sales at Proper Job’s site. I would
like local reuse facilities at Proper Job to take my reusable items for bring
and buy purposes because it:

  1. makes
Chagford a better, happier, more fun and
    healthier community place to live!
  2. provides
    community benefit
  3. reduces
    waste, landfill, transportation, packaging etc
  4. supports
    local sustainable development
  5. provides
local jobs, training and volunteering opportunities.
  6. keeps
    value in the local economy
  7. provides
local services and facilities that are not available elsewhere
  8. provides
benefit to low income households and disadvantaged people as low cost items are
    available
  9. local
facilities are available to people who do not have cars
  10. reuse
saves all the embodied energy of resources, transportation and energy to make
an equivalent new product and thus helps tackle climate change.

Yours sincerely,
