For those of you who haven't seen, this Easter is the last chance to see Arthur & Martha's fashion shoots  at 'Art, Ecology and the Economy'.

This Exhibition is a look at Artists, Craftspeople and local business with sustainable practices and is on at the Centre for Contemporary art and the Natural World,

'Get The Look'

The Arthur & Martha's Team want to demonstrate how it is possible to get a current, on trend look with it out it costing the earth, environmentally or financially!

 Our team has taken the latest seasonal looks from Vogue, Marie Clare and other glossy magazines and recreated them using local models and 100% recycled fashion, local hair and make-up artists and photographers to re-create the look right here on our doorstep!

We are featuring garments from Arthur & Martha's boutique and  upcycled items like the above poncho made from recycled wool with hand made accessories. Model: Jessica Smallcombe, Hair: Rebecca Butler, Make-up: Kate Goodwin, Styling and Photography: Angharad Barlow 

A Night of Fashioning Fun, May 2009

Our first full fashion extravaganza. 

Arthur & Martha's had a fantastic evening featuring our first fashion show using a fantastic array of local models and over 100 different sustainably styled outfits.

The evening involved sale rails, bar, fashion show followed by a clothes swap enabling people to pick up a new outfit for as little a the price of a ticket 4.00GBP!
